HEARTISANS VILLAGE

Over the years, we have watched women exit our job readiness program to work in the community, many attending higher education, and we have seen them struggle trying to find affordable housing with no safety net of savings. While we continue working with our graduates through this process, they are scattered wherever we can find affordable housing and many lose the community connection and services they so desperately need as they start a new life. Heartisans Village will meet this need.

This on-campus community will provide independent community living for up to two years with an individual success plan that includes home maintenance instruction, continued faith-based group and one-on-one budgeting classes and counseling, as well as life-skill classes offered through our Alumni Resources.
